How does insurance work for my car rental?
We are currently partnered with Turo as our primary platform for insurance. We recommend downloading the Turo App to further answer any questions regarding insurance. All vehicles will have full insurance coverage during your trip in your included price. You can also provide your own insurance if your insurance provider offers it! Ask us for more details on personal insurance coverage.

Contacting roadside assistance
We provide 24/7 roadside assistance for accidents, breakdowns, and other issues if you or your host have chosen a protection plan through Turo. Contact us at 1-888-391-0460 (CA) or 1-415-965-4525 (US), and we’ll connect you with a dispatcher who’ll send a service vehicle, and we’ll cover the cost of dispatch. If you’ve booked a trip with a Commercial Host, contact them directly to arrange for roadside assistance.

What fuel should I use in the vehicle?
Most of our vehicles have high performance engines which utilize a turbocharger or supercharger. In order for these engines to perform at their peak performance, we ask guests to use 91 octane (premium) fuel only.
What Happens if I get a ticket or Tolls?
We are not responsible for any tickets you incur while driving our vehicles, nor will we pay any toll road fees. You are responsible for any other fees, penalties, towing charges, or impound costs.
Clients are responsible for all expenses they incur in the rental vehicle. This includes tolls, tickets and towing.
If I get into a Collison or damage the vehicle, what should I do?
First step, call us as we are available 6am – 10pm. We will ensure you are safe first, and will then provide you with everything you need to ensure your vacation continues! We are often able to provide a vehicle replacement for you at no additional cost.
Can I take the vehicle off-road?
We ask guests to keep all vehicles on designated roads and avoid “four wheeling” or “off roading.” If you expect to take the vehicle far off the beaten path, give us a call and we will try to accommodate you as best we can as some of our vehicles are very capable in many terrain types.
Can I Make Modifications to my reservation during my trip?
Short answer, yes. We are generally very flexible in extending a rental, however there will likely be an additional fee. If you suspect you will need to modify your trip, just let us know so we can accommodate as best we can.
